VIVAnews – PT Semen Gresik Tbk. (PTBA) booked a Rp 1.51 trillion (US$150.33 million) net profit during the first semester of 2009. The profit increases around 33 percent than the same period in 2008 valuing Rp 1.13 trillion.
The publication of the corporate financial report in Jakarta on Tuesday, July 28, stated that the company's sale had also increased to Rp 6.76 trillion from a previous Rp 5.69 trillion. The sale gain jumped around 18 percent.
Meanwhile, the sale liabilities also rose to Rp 3.77 trillion compared to the same period in 2008 valuing Rp 3.29 trillion which resulted in a recorded gross profit of Rp 2.99 trillion of a previous Rp 2.39 trillion.
The cement company's business profit climbed to Rp 1.91 trillion of a previous Rp 1.52 trillion. While, the net profit per share lifted from Rp 192 to Rp 258 per share.
