VIVAnews - PT Bakrieland Development Tbk (ELTY) is planning to issue ijarah sukuk valuing Rp 150 billion by July 2009. The sukuk consists of two series whose terms are two and three years consecutively.
The sukuk will be offered by 1-2 July 2009 and be listed on July 8.
The fund from the public offering of the Ijarah Sukuk will be used for developing residential projects of Bakrieland's subsidiary (Graha Andrasentra Propertindo); building facilities for small- and medium-sized enterprises; providing working capital for the company as well as expanding its businesses.
The sukuk has been rated idBBB+ (sy) by Indonesian ratings agency Pefindo.
The book building period is set at 25 May - 12 June 2009. The company has appointed PT Bahana Securities and PT Madani Securities as Joint Lead Underwriter in the sukuk issuance.
ELTY owns four business units: city property, landed residential, hotel & resort and property-linked infrastructures.
