VIVAnews - PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk. (AALI)'s crude palm oil (CPO) sales volume in the first quarter of 2009 decreased by 6.1 percent from 240,643 tons to 225,971 tons.
The domestic market absorbed 206,54 tons or 91.4 percent of the total sales volume. Meanwhile, export market reached around 8.6 percent or 19,457 tons.
Astra Agro Investor Relations Tjahyo Dwi Ariantono said that the decrease is resulted in the fall of average selling price of the company's commodities as quoted in the Investor Bulletin of second edition, April 2009.
