VIVAnews - Indonesian Vice President Boediono said he is unaffected by the circulating issue today saying that his vice presidential office is under threat. According to Boediono, the office is a form of his service to the state and nation.
"He said being dismissed of his office was not a problem at all. He only wants to serve the nation," said Division Head of the Indonesian Youth Entrepreneurs (HIPMI) Kamrussamad on Friday, Jan 29.
However, Kamrussamad said Boediono should not lose his office unconstitutionally.
However, HIPMI Chairperson Erwin Aksa denied that Boediono's statement was in line with the Bank Century issue.
"The leaders of the nation are mostly seniors. People will get old. The youth must be prepared for a takeover," said Erwin.
The plan to oust the Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Vice President Boediono surfaced as the Bank Century issue escalated.
